Yin & Yang – Landscape

These images are exploring the idea of semi interior/exterior spaces to portray architectural vicinities from several perspectives and angles. The top image focuses more on orthogonal leading lines versus the bottom image which is diagonal lines. The shallow DoF is used in both images in order to have consistency within the ying and the yang is almost a contrast between the rectilinear lines.

The technique did not vary within the two pictures so the contrast is more apparent within the leading lines and its form.

Moreover, the top image is very dark in contrast to the image on the bottom – there is an absence of light with shades of light forming a pattern.
